I love working with students of all ages, though I recommend kids under 7 years old begin with hand sewing as their fine motor skills develop before trying a sewing machine. My lessons are available to students in the Phoenix area and range from 1-3 hours depending on the project. Students may propose a project idea (such as designing and making their own halloween costume for example), or choose from the following lessons:

• Introduction to Sewing- learn parts of the machine, how to wind and insert a bobbin, practice basic stitching and maintaining an even seam allowance.

• Tote Bag

• Face Mask

• Boot Wings

• Pajama Pants

• Leggings and bike shorts (Intro to Jersey/Stretch fabric)

• Circle Skirt

• Design and make your own Lucha Mask

• Swim suit

Lesson Rates:
Private 1-on-1 lessons: $50/hr
Small Group lessons (2-3 students): $35/hr per student

Private lessons are available any day and time including weekends to best accommodate your schedule.
